Diabetes Rock and Roll Day

Walk ‘N Roll for Diabetes!

 When? May 4, Wednesday

Why? to help with the fight against Diabetes

What to bring? something that is powered by body energy and has wheels

(tricycle, bike, roller skates, skate board, scooter board)

How do I mark my child’s body powered roller?

Fill in the card below, place it in a zip lock bag for protection and use a twisty tie to secure it to a handle, or tape it to the bottom of the skate board, or tie it through the strings* * *

Where do I drop the wheels off at?

The north parking lot will be blocked off the morning of the ride. Circle in and have your child place their wheels behind their teacher’s cone in the field area (this is where you will also pick up your wheels).

What time do I drop the wheels off at/and pick them up?

Drop off time will start at 7:30am to 8am. Pick up time will last until 2:30- 4:30.

What happens if I cannot pick up my wheels?

All left over wheels will be brought indoors to the Leopard’s Lair. Please plan on picking them up by Thursday at the latest. Please check in at the office.

When will my child walk and roll?

During their PE time KG-1:45, 1st-9:05, 2nd-12:15, 3rd-8:15, 4th-11:40, 5th-9:50

What happens if my child doesn’t bring any wheels?

No problem :} That is where the walk part comes in. Walkers will be in the baseball field area.
