The Dallas Diabetes and Endocrine Center (DDEC) incorporates two organizations started by Dr. Julio Rosenstock in 1990:
- A Clinical Research Center devoted to test new medications mainly for Diabetes, High Cholesterol and Obesity
- An Endocrine and Diabetes practice devoted to the specialized endocrine care of our private patients.
With this unity, the facility with its multidisciplinary team, is very effective in bringing great minds together with the latest research and technology to provide outstanding care for endocrine disorders with a focus in diabetes care.
The care philosophy is to provide high quality, up-to-date endocrine care delivered in a compassionate, patient-focused manner. The DDEC stresses patient education, communication, and the most advanced proven treatments for endocrine conditions. The DDEC specializes in, but not limited to, conditions such as diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis and growth hormone disorders.
