October Advocacy Issue: Become a Diabetes Advocate!

What’s a “Diabetes Advocate?” It’s an easy way to get involved in our fight to increase funding for diabetes research and programs, to improve access to health care and to eliminate discrimination against people with diabetes. Advocates receive email alerts about legal issues that affect people with diabetes and events in their area, as well as specific actions they can take to make a difference. There’s no obligation, only opportunities, so Sign up Today!

Volunteers Needed!

On Nov 5th from 7 to 11 a.m. we need five out-going and enthusiastic volunteers to recruit Diabetes Advocates at this year’s Step Out Walk in Arlington. Please contact Kevin for more information. Advocacy volunteers will receive a “Diabetes Advocate” t-shirt.

Did You Know? There are 139,358 Diabetes Advocates, 3691 in North Texas!
