Keller ISD hosted its 9th Annual School Walk for Diabetes and Lifestyle Improvement Challenge Wrap-Up Event on Saturday, March 29, at KISD Stadium in association with the American Diabetes Association and Baylor Grapevine Hospital.
The District was named the top district in the nation last year for raising more than $44,000 for the American Diabetes Association and the preliminary numbers show that this year, almost 2,000 participants helped raise more than $70,000 to help further the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Stay tuned for an announcement with the final dollar amount raised!
