Tour de Cure, ADA’s cycling fundraiser, boasted 1300 riders despite rain the previous day, which flooded some of the longer routes. Tour de Cure was held Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway. Committee members say the rain and flood waters didn’t slow the event’s goal. Participants raised over $630,000 by Saturday, well on their way to reach the goal of $700,000.
“It was a great event,” said Jim Cadorette, the Tour de Cure chair. “We want to thank all our sponsors and participants for coming out and riding.”
